This master thesis investigates how cultural entrepreneurship contributes to the sustainability and intergenerational transmission of castells, the Catalan tradition of building human towers. Drawing on interviews with castellers, leaders and cultural stakeholders, the research examines how collective governance, community participation and the transmission of embodied knowledge help sustain this living cultural practice over time.
With this thesis, I completed my master degree in Cultural Economics and Entrepreneurship at Erasmus University Rotterdam.

This thesis explores how dance makers affiliated with Nordberg Movement, a Stockholm-based agency platform, engage their work as a medium for activist discourse within the Swedish contemporary dance field. It situates the inquiry within the broader context of structural precarity, increasing demands on artists, and the shifting role of artists as cultural producers.

This research is a personal and intimate voyage Jill and I made together during our last one and a half year in school. It departed from seeing each other almost every day to sharing our thoughts from the distance. This paper is an attempt of a documentation of our journey, including our emotional and physical experiences, findings, and our perhaps changed view on the topic intimacy.
This research is a tribute to all those physical encounters that we have not been able to experience for such a long time as well as it is a celebration of our potential affective intimate bodies.
